Leaving tomorrow at 2:30am for the Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors. The car is decal’d out, the camera rigs are ready, batteries are charged up, SD cards cleared out, filters neatly organized, lenses sorted. Gonna be a good time.

Enjoy it, even though you missed the best event in Telluride: Blues and Brews. That is a neat area, especially if you head down towards the Rico/Dolores area and get away from the money and f au x people that is Telluride and Durango.   Mesa Verde National Park is seriously cool.

Everyone knows the real hype is the Durango - Silverton Narrow Gauge RR. Did that like 8 years ago and it was a rail nerd’s wet dream.

Also very good is the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad just over the line in New Mexico in that area.
